OVERDUE

“student experience” tabletop game simulation!

Overdue is a coop game where the players must survive against many obstacles and enemies sent by the diabolical game master coming straight out of Dungeon and Dragons. Create teams of 2 to 4 students and choose your video game discipline in order to submit your homework before the deadline, and don't forget your performance will be graded!

  • Game designer: create game mechanics

  • Level Designer: Create and Build the level with Unity.

  • Bug tracking and QA testing.

  • Write documentation for the team.

  • Narrative designer: create the “lore” and make sure it is translated in the character’s animation, background’s look, ....

  • Narrative designer: write dialogue for the character.

What I learned/improved

  • How to work as the only designer of the team.

  • How to do an online systemic game.

  • Work with the other poles of production (Art, Programmation).

  • How to follow and use production planning.

  • Report bugs effectively.

  • Translate narration in another way than dialogue.

  • Work with unity.
